EJ interventions | Innovations
EJ Interventions | Innovations is a multi-media platform for environmental justice activists and organizations to share their knowledge on environmental and economic justice issues and solutions in their communities through blogs, photos, videos, and audio recordings.
The Environmental Justice movement was founded to "build a national and international movement of all peoples of color to fight the destruction and taking of our lands . . . to promote economic alternatives which would contribute to the development of environmentally safe livelihoods; and, to secure our political, economic and cultural liberation. . . ."
Since the first national gathering in 1991, the environmental justice movement has had many victories, learned many lessons, and continues to fight injustices and create solutions today.
Each blog entry reflects the view of the author, and not necessarily the Environmental Justice Health Alliance for Chemical Policy Reform.
