Project:

• To get state Senate to draft and bring to a vote a bill compatible to the state Assembly Bill A-06459-A (well testing act).
• Amendment to “Public Health Law” – requiring mandatory testing of private water wells similar to testing of municipal drinking water testing.

R.A.G.E. is assisting the lead group, Hopewell Junction Citizens for Clean water.

State Senate compatible bill is yet to be drafted. No legislation at this time.

Project:

• Signature campaign to present to the US and NYS EPA commissions regarding limitations of acceptable TCE (and other VOC’S) in ground water, drinking water, and air.  To reduce the present guideline now being used by the NYS Department of Health as being “acceptable,” go to www.petitiononline.com/RAGEORG/ and sign our petition.
