Main Issues/Sites: Communities contaminated by Pacific Gas & Electric Co., community built directly on top of superfund site, over 350 hazardous toxins of PNAs/VOCs, Cyanide, PCBs, Chrom VI, Barium, Lead, Arsenic, Residents suffer high cancer, death, asthma, suicide, childhood disability rates all being ignored by elected officials and health and environmental agencies in these communities. Ineffective and lack of agency cleanup and protective actions for affected residents, no agency accountability from decision-makers or elected officials, unfair court rulings favor polluting Co PG&E while ignoring communities illnesses and death related to decades of these toxic hazardous exposures.
