Clean Water Action (CWA) was founded in 1972 and is a national organization of diverse people and groups with chapters in 22 states. CWA is a citizens-lobbying organization working in Massachusetts, Connecticut and around the country for clean, safe and affordable water, the prevention of health-threatening pollution, the creation of environmentally safe jobs and businesses and the empowerment of people to make democracy work.
